HOW WE BEGIN
With more than 3 decades of cooking experience and after working with many renowned hotels in overseas, Chef Bungla started his own venture, Tara's Indian Restaurant with only one aim to serve local community, an authentic and delicious Indian food. After establishing a business 18 years ago, Tara's Indian restaurant proudly serving community with same aim. With so many different varieties of Indian Food sometime it becomes difficult to select the best dish. At Tara's Indian Restaurant, we have already prepared and selected some mouthful dishes for you. After visiting Tara's Indian Restaurant many times over the years, We know what to expect: great food and great prices. I suggest checking them out.
Let me start by saying, I look at the kitchen before I eat the food, and Taras, a family run restaurant, has the cleanest kitchen I have ever seen.
Only indian restro i go to! Staff are really friendly, food is consistently amazing & service is fantastic. Favourite dishes are the chicken tandoori and dal makhani.
I adore this place! Staff are always welcoming and accommodating. Offer to hang our coats coming in from a cold night and the food is always superb.
Good food, targeted towards Australian diners (medium hot would be mild for an average Indian). Good customer service, clean setup.
